The Shrewsbury Flower Show in 2017 featured TV personalities, celebrity chefs, singers and spectacular arena acts entertained the crowds for 12 hours on each day, ending with a magnificent finale and firework display.

The show is one of the country’s Premier Flower Show events, attracting top exhibitors from all over the country. It has a small permanent staff and over 100 volunteers who manage and organise the whole event, from traffic flow, marquee and services contracts, publicity and marketing, public safety, catering, entertainment, engaging specialist judges for hundreds of competitive classes etc., and ensuring our visitors have an extraordinary experience with value for money.

The Quarry Marquee

The main Quarry Marquee, which is non-competitive, is host to some of the top horticulturalists in the country. With in the region of than exhibitors vying for the top awards, with the standards being very high.

The Severn Marquee

Severn Marquee is home to the various societies, amateur growers plus Bees, Honey and Wine exhibitors. Competition is fierce amongst the amateur growers who provide some wonderful displays.

For nearly 30 years, the Shrewsbury Flower Show has said goodnight to thousands of visitors following a spectacular firework display. Designed by Kimbolton who produced the Pyrotechnic and Firework Displays (Ceremonies) at the London 2012 Olympic Games, the stunning display marries traditional and innovative methods, synchronised to music to produce an ever more exciting and unique fireworks finale.

The fireworks take place on both nights of the show, starting around 9.45 p.m. and finishing at 10.00 p.m.

Advance entry tickets are available up to 10 p.m. on Thursday 9th August 2018.

Please Note – There is no parking within the Showground.

The Shrewsbury Flower Show operates car parks at Frankwell, Burrs Field and the Agricultural Showground. To guide you to the nearest car park with spaces, follow the yellow AA Road Signs for the Shrewsbury Flower Show. A Shuttle bus service operates from the Agricultural Showground.
