Join us for this charity open day where all proceeds from admission to the Gardens will be donated to the National Gardens Scheme.
The National Garden Scheme, which celebrated its 90th year in 2017, is the most significant charitable founder of nursing charities in the country, donating over £50 million since it was founded. The gardens at Raby Castle are one of 80 gardens which opened in the first year of 1927 and are still open today.
The main charities to benefit from the National Garden Scheme are: The Queen’s Nursing Institute, Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Carers Trust, Hospice UK, Perennial, Parkinson’s UK and other guest charities.
