Kentwell Hall in Long Melford, is Suffolk’s hidden gem and one of England’s finest Tudor houses that stands within the most extensive moat in the county.
Kentwell’s gardens and grounds are often described as ‘magical’ and you will see why when visiting the Walled & Sunken garden’s with their unique and special interest features. Look out for the Pied Piper Hedge, an original Tudor Ice House and the Yew Castle.
Easy season garden interests include the carpets of Snowdrops spread over the grounds, the dazzling display of daffodils and covering the moat banks.
House, gardens and Rare Breeds farm are open throughout the season.
The Stable Yard Team Rooms offer a range of delicious menu’s including as much seasonal and homegrown produce that is available on the farm. Kentwell’s Sausage Rolls are renowned.
