Holker Hall plant fair is always held at the top of the car park beside the Café courtyard and features many of the North’s top plant growers and specialists including some from Scotland so you can be assured that your plants will definitely grow in your gardens as they are all hardy and resistant to cold weather and rain!

We offer free entry to the plant fair and there is usually a produce market.

Some of the participating plant specialists include Penmere Plants from Cheshire, Harperley Hall Farm Nurseries from Co Durham, East of Eden from Cumbria, Roanne Nursery from East Yorkshire and D K Plants from Staffordshire. We also welcome back the Cumbrian Composters with their educational stand about all this composting and the RSPB will also be there.

The Producers’ Market will be in the cafe forecourt so please don’t forget to bring cash as many of the stands do not have debit card facilities. So don’t be disappointed – bring “proper” money with you!

Admission: Free. Dogs welcome in the fair but not in the gardens.
