Harrogate Autumn Flower Show
14th September at 8:00 am to 16th September at 5:00 pm£20.00
Here are just some of the highlights of this year’s Harrogate Autumn Flower Show.
Our theme this autumn is Plants of Pleasure, a journey across thousands of years of guilty plant enjoyment.
From cocoa beans and grape vines, to love potions and perfumed oils we explore the origins of those plants often considered to be naughty, but nice. How did the bitter taste of coffee become so popular? And could you really make someone fall in love with a perfume?
Our popular garden border competition, Borderline, will have a host of ideas and inspiration for smaller plots and quiet corners. Each week in the run up to the show we will reveal a new design.
Our spectacular Plant Nursery Pavilion will host dozens of fabulous displays by the UK’s top nurseries.
From hostas to hydrangeas and air plants to acers, there are plants for every space in your garden – just one of the features that helped to make our spring show Britain’s best gardening event for readers of Which?Gardening.
Our exhibitors also offer unrivalled knowledge and experience, so make the most of the opportunity to ask them if you have the right plant for the right place!
Lose yourself in a sea of over 5,000 beautiful blooms in Britain’s biggest exhibition by specialist gardening groups.
There will be stands and shows from nearly 20 different gardening societies, all with the knowledge and experience to help you get the most from wonderful plants and flowers, such as dahlia, delphinium, carnation, chrysanthemum, roses and gladioli.
Admission: £20 gate price, £17.50 advance tickets.
Harrogate Flower Shows at the Great Yorkshire Showground have excellent facilities for the disabled visitor. All marquees are fully ramped and floored, and most of the show is accessible from hard surfaces.
