Blenheim Palace Flower Show which returns for its fifth year in June this year. This wonderful three day show celebrates the very best of gardening, home and lifestyle. It is packed with inspiration, flowers and plants and everything you need for your home and garden. The show is a celebration of lifestyle and the great outdoors.
This years event will be officially opened by Alan Titchmarsh, TV’s favourite garden presenter. We invite you to join us for an inspiring day out in the unique surroundings of Blenheim Palace.
Home to the 12th Duke and Duchess of Marlborough, Blenheim Palace is the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill and a World Heritage Site.
Blenheim Palace was a gift from Queen Anne and a grateful nation to John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough following his famous victory at the Battle of Blenheim in 1704. Visit the gilded State Rooms, which house one of the finest collections in Europe, and the fascinating visitor experience, ‘Blenheim Palace: The Untold Story’. The Churchill Exhibition includes the room where Sir Winston Churchill was born 1874.
Situated in Woodstock, just 8 miles from Oxford, Blenheim Palace is surrounded by over 2,000 acres of ‘Capability’ Brown landscaped parkland, the great lake, and beautiful formal gardens.
Grand Floral Pavilion 2017
The Grand Floral Pavilion 2017 will feature the largest ever Grand Floral Pavilion featuring over 40 individual plants man, growers and societies that excel in their horticultural field. The Pavilion will be a riot of colour, fragrance and amazing plants. They will all be judged in accordance with horticultural guidelines and may awarded with medals, Gold, Silver Gilt, Silver and Bronze, a Best in Show Award will be also be presented.
Blenheim Palace Flower Show Gardens
A selection of stylish gardens will return to the Blenheim Palace Flower Show in 2017 and we will shortly be announcing which garden designers will be at this year’s show.
Alan Titchmarsh, who is one of the most recognisable garden and horticultural experts in the UK, will lead 2 talks in the Gardening Theatre on Friday 23rd June. You’ll get the chance to ask Alan any questions you have at the end of each talk. Alan, who rose to fame as the main presenter of Gardeners’ World and has written over 50 gardening books. Alan also hosted his own popular chat show, The Alan Titchmarsh Show which aired on ITV between 20o7 and 2014.
Floral Art Marquee
The Berks, Bucks & Oxon Area of National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) will be holding their special Floral Art Show at this year’s Blenheim Palace Flower Show. With a competitive floral art competition entitled ‘Blooms Beauty and Originality’, showcasing the creative talents of NAFAS members.
Also within the NAFAS Floral Pavilion workshops and demonstrations will take place daily. It’s a floral creative hub for all things floral, design and flower arranging.
